The Siafu movement based out of Atlanta GA has a multitude of programs to help the black community.  From the FTP movement designed to combat system’s disregard for the poor and oppressive conditions that support poverty. With a focus on uplifting the community, unity, justice, freedom, and self-sufficiency to the Urban Survival Preparedness Institute which will prepare you and your family to effectively deal with the problems you will face in a crisis, or during an urban, natural or manmade disaster.  This movement is not at the walking stage they are at a full-blown sprint.  Check out their website for more programs and solutions to problems in the black community in the link below.
